Chandra Atwood is a paralegal at Moss Immigration Law PC. She assists with many aspects of the firm’s practice, including research, document drafting, maintaining the attorney calendar, client communication, and administrative work. She is also a notary public for the State of Idaho.

In college, Chandra participated in a paralegal program before she began working as a receptionist for a solo practitioner in southeastern Idaho. In 2013, her strong communication and organizational skills allowed her to advance quickly to a legal assistant. In 2014, Chandra and her family relocated to northern Idaho where she was hired as a paralegal at a law firm handling family and criminal cases. Through her paralegal work, she has gained experience in child protection cases, family law and criminal law, both misdemeanor and felony at state and federal levels. In 2018, she started working as an immigration paralegal at Moss Immigration law, which focuses solely on immigration law. She currently handles family, business, and immigration court cases. In 2020, Chandra completed the American Immigration Lawyers Association’ (AILA) 20-hour online course for paralegals and obtained a certificate of completion. Although she has assisted with many of the firm’s administrative duties since the beginning of her employment, in 2019 she also became the office administrator. She is thoroughly enjoying both roles and learning new things every day.

Currently, Chandra is using her organizational skills, attention to detail, and legal background to continue as a paralegal and administrator for Moss Immigration Law, PC. She is also looking forward to completing another course through AILA. She is excited to be a part of Moss Immigration Law because she believes that everyone deserves opportunities to explore new places and set down their roots wherever is best for them.

When she is not working, Chandra spends time making memories with her family. She loves game nights, cooking for her family, and exploring the outdoors. She has two dogs that love to go on hikes and is happy to be a resident of the Pacific Northwest where the trails seem as endless as they are beautiful.
